Archiv rubriky: Book I: Nascence

The first book mainly sets the story in motion. It begins in September 1998, after the Battle of Hogwarts, where the Harry Potter saga ends. It contains a good many flashbacks, though, which is why a date is given for every canto — each chapter’s individual scene. It’s called Nascence, because this is where the one this whole story is about — Joshua Granger — is born. And we learn from it why and how he was born, the circumstances of his conception, and what it set in motion. What his birth might actually mean, though, is a question that becomes the central theme only in the second book.
But he isn’t the only important character born here — and the story’s chief antihero, Joshua’s counterpart, is reborn here too.
